How do you find this info on car-part.com? I am searching for compatible models for an '08 Impreza, and this would be extremely useful for me right now!

I am hoping this is an easy question. Will an automatic trans from a '07 Forester work in an '08 Impreza? I have been searching and looking at transmission charts, and I cannot seem to find anything that goes beyond '05 model years. The car I have is an '08 Impreza 2.5i, and I am getting a new engine from a '07 Forester. For only a couple hundred dollars more, I can buy the entire Forester donor. I am wanting to change the trans while I have the engine out. If I understand what I have researched so far, the Forester may have a different final drive ratio, but I can swap the rear diff if this is the case. Just needing to find out if buying the entire donor is worth it, or if I am better off finding an Impreza transmission. Thanks in advance.
