  1. Thank you for this reply. I didnt see any metal with the naked eye within the filter, any other symptoms that I can look at? Anyone else have any comments? Thank you!
  2. Hi everyone, I am looking for some advice/feedback regarding a sound I am getting (very likely) from the Connecting Rod. Its almost a "clicking/knocking". The sound is heard when the revs are about 2500-4000 under light throttle. Its been happening for about 2-3 weeks now. 2008 Impreza 2.5 - Standard - 135,000KM (apx 84,000 miles) Oil has been maintained (5W-30 as the manual instructs) Did an oil change last week I did not over rev on a down shift Here is a video where the sound can be heard while the car is being reved. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Z5N80iv4eaxlVKfdMqEarsLxMNlZSbod/view From my research, this problem doesn't seem to be too common, but it does happen enough for there to be some attention. Here are some questions I have: Did you drive the car without fixing it? If so, apx how many KM did you use it? What would be the best approach to resolve this issue? Engine rebuild Engine swap Connecting rod replacement Sell it asap Any vendors I can consider looking at for parts if I choose that route? I am in Canada if that makes any difference. Thanks in advance!
