  1. The Pioneer DEH-P6700MP only has the Blue/White "Amp Remote" wire. It does not have the Blue "Power Antenna" wire. So it's working correctly. If you don't want the antenna up while you're listening to CDs, the only solution would be to install a switch on that wire.
  2. The 98/99 will probably fit. Every Subaru radio I've seen has been double-DIN sized. I'd be very interested to know whether the wiring harness in your '94 is the two-plug style or the newer, single plug style (with 14-pins). The two-plug style was used by most Subarus up to '92. In '93 they switched nearly all models to the single 14-pin plug. But some '93-'94 Legacies continued using the old two-plug harness. I've been told that all North American '93-'94 Legacies carried over the two-plug harness. If you end up needing to create an adaptor using 'forward' and reverse harnesses, you don't want to use Scosche's reverse harness -- theirs are missing one of the two illumination pins; without that your radio won't light up. See this post for harnesses that do have all 14 pins.

Yahoo Geocities will die on 10/26. Would you please edit my post to change the root URLs in my post from "http://www.geocities.com/svxdc/" to "http://ae64.com/" The URLs on the new site use the same filename/suffix as the old site. Thanks!
  6. Pin-out of the Radio Wiring Connector in the Forester (all years since 1993) A wiring adaptor really does make your installation much easier. Definitely worth taking extra effort to find and order one.
