  1. For your new knuckles, what kind of hub/stud set up are you gonna do? Are the stock studs strong enough to handle the abuse in your experience? I had an idea on the topic of mcpherson struts. Since the obvious disadvantage being the shock shaft being the supporting member, you know what is really strong in that way? Dirtbike forks. Ive thought how to make them into a coilover strut.just a thought
  2. Have fun on that head gasket job! Here’s something I learned recently: rack and pinions from legacy models have a quicker turn ratio than outbacks, something like 16:1 vs19:1. Ill definitely be putting one in mine since there’s nothing but sand trails where I live in Florida.
  3. What wheels are you using and what is the load rating?
  4. Yeah, a 6 cyl would be better on gas, more reliable, more controllable power.
  5. Have you seen those Eaton m62 Supercharger builds? You can keep your A/C and swap to NA with just a belt change if you have problems on the trail. Ive been reading your posts for a while and the m62 is on my list of mods for my outback.
