  1. Someone explain to me why the good people at Subaru decided that 1997 would be the year that rear disc brakes would be nearly impossible to obtain, I say nearly impossible because I insist on being optimistic and request that anyone with info regarding an easy swap out share their wisdom with me
  2. I have a 97 impreza L and I don't want to waste the time and money getting an impreza outback sport hood with the scoop and vents if it wasn't made to fit the my car, so hopefully someone else has tried this modification and can point me in the right direction. thanx.
  3. i too am curious as to what exactly makes it a limited edition, but i have never seen enough subaru like, everything appears slightly different, from the outside that is, and inside everything seems a little bit better than any other subaru i've been in, that is to say subarus made around the same time
  4. its actually called a hill brake you press the clutch in and press down on the brake and then release, while leaving the clutch engaged, and you remain stationary i have an '83 subaru gl wagon (limited edition) but i recently got in an accident and its out of commission at the moment, but i never experienced any of the problems you described, it is a hell of a car though
