  1. Do they offer replacement for the first gen? Do you have a part number?
  2. What are my options for rebilding or replacing my front struts on my 1981 brat?
  3. What are the different ports on my brat gas tank? I know the outlet, fill, sending unit, large vent for fill, but which one is return, and which is the vapor port? Theres one on the right side and one by the fill neck vent. Which one is the return?
  4. I have a first gen/EA81 brat...well actually 3 first gen brats. All 1981 EA81 first gens. Im just getting into subarus. I have a few projects to finish up before I get into the subarus. Right now I'm just investigating and parts collecting.
  5. Thank you guys for all the information. I work off shore for 2weeks at a time, so this is my online study time. If i was home id just go and check it out. I get in tomorrow so i might go look later this week or next.
  6. Do the R160 rears all have the same splines? Even from the 1bolt to 5bolt? Theres an 86 GL 4door in a junkyard back home, would it be DR?
  7. Thank you, i am pleased and impressed with the help of the Subaru community with my questions and curiosities.
  8. Is there a chart, data base, or post explaining all the differences between all the axle shafts (front and rear). Year models, spline counts, lengths and compatability. Sorry for posting all these questions, but im new to subarus. I have some first gen brats, but Subarus are pretty rare down here in the deep south.
  9. What vehicles should I be looking for to find a good dual range 5speed?
  10. All my neighbors have big UTVs. We all curious about the brat. Im at work in the gulf of Mexico and i wont be back until the 6th.
  11. So the answer is yes, but the machine cost is high. The machinists I know don't LOL.
  12. Thats an awesome deal. You can order them thicker too, to get them to clear in the rear.
  13. Im not talking about small 4wheelers here. Im talking about the large side by sides that are larger and heavier than Brats. They have a huge selection of 14in custom rims and DOT aproved tires.
  14. 10-4! I have one with all the parts. I was afraid that the parts car without ac that im about to get will be better to build.
