Cheapest way to get the AC working again?
TBH, all you need is a small leak adapter... while it is illegal and bad for the enviroment, im sure every factory in your city does alot worse. it works, the new chemicals, alot nicer for 20$ then 400$ for the radiator company... or fixit shop

An Exciting day at the Junkyard today
So me, my GF, and my GF's brother all head out to Newark Picknpull to discover about 7-8 Loyales. Scored myself a newish radio, and 4 upper door panels for $35, didn't manage to get the rear turn signal due to lack of tools / time. Man, what a fun / dirty day. $2 is worth it in my book any day. I'll post before / after pics in a day or two... major change.

Overheating problem..
a bit more smoke the normal when starting it up out the back after a few days of no driving, and almost clear smoke from under the car, i'm assuming from heat.

Overheating problem..
So I bought some coolant awhile ago and was decived I usually buy pre-mixed but this wasn't even though I thought it was... so I drive down the I-5 and I overheat and get a ton of white smoke out the exhaust. bad news... so I flush the rad fluid, change the hoses. but lately it's been overheating and even dying if I don't keep the RPM up while it's hot (hot being almost or even the white line before the red... the oil dipstick isn't a milky texture... so I'm not quite sure what it is. if anyone has any ideas... let me know, gotta make the 87 Wagon last....

87 GL... weird noise
I think it is the CV joint, I replaced the right one and I think it used to go on both sides so it's prolly the left one going out.... sigh I need to change that.

HELP - car won't move - CV?
for someone who's never attempted an axle much less any car work i'd suggest taking it to the mechanic, it can save hours of frustration and even some hurt limbs. get a new axle, get the both if you can afford it, have the mechanic do them both at the same time. I paid 200$ all said and done.. 100$ axle, 100$ labor installed in the bay area, call every shop you can in your yellow pages. always ask to supply parts I was stupid and only got 1 done, the one that needed it, but I know sooner or later the other is gonna go out and then it's gonna cost me 2x what it woulda cost me to do both of them at the same time.

Looking good?
speaking of the bumper, i was in a minor collison with a taxicab and the right side of the bumper got pushed in, is there a way i can push it back out? or i thinki should just get a new bumper cover (with the tear in the left hand side) if i were to change the bumper cover, how would i remove it?
