See some Outbacks/Legacys have stock hood scoops and some don't. I thought maybe the 6cyls did but then see that many 4cyl do. Was there a particular year that do or don't? Are they fuctional? Wanting to know just to help me identify years and models. Peter S

Ok, Now I'm really confused. SOME Outbacks are Imprezza's? I thought they were all based on a Legacy. Whats an Imprezza anyway? Are there aftermarket higher springs I could put on a Legacy to make it taller for snow? Peter S

Other than riding a bit higher, different wheels, single body color, what else do I loose buying a Legacy for $6000 cheaper? This is what I'm finding for 2000-2003 models. Peter S

On the 2.5 engines? What does this mean? The 2.2 is 'bulletproof'? Whats models and years are these uses? Peter S - NOOBIE and not bought a Subaru yet.

Considering buying a Subaru AWD wagon. Something $10-16K or so. Can't figure out the differences in the models. Except the Forester, they appear similar to my untrained eye. Somebody please educate me. I'm a huge car nut and have owned and restored many brands and ages over the years but not Subaru. Need something good for hauling things and season snow and ice. Will a 6ft ladder fit inside one of these? I'm in Spokane Washington. Thanks! Peter S
