Hello all you good folk in USA this is my first post.
In Australia, Subaru discovered the rev limiter function on H6 Outback 2004+ models fitted with 5 speed auto did not work in manual change mode so they issued a recall notice to replace/reprogram a computer unit (CU).
Since they replaced/reprogrammed the CU the engine idles unevenly. The local dealer admits this problem is occuring in a number of other H6's and they don't know how to fix it. They have tried rasing the idle revs. by 100rpm and removing/resealing the EGR but the problem is still there.
Emailed Subaru Aust but they just refer you back to the local dealer.
Wondering if any of you guys have experience with this.
