Just thought I'd share a vid we made about failing the CARB legal engine swap. - we go over the carb process, why we failed, and future options.. Basically, the 83-87 Brats are "trucks" and 81-82 are "passenger cars." And ej22s only came in passenger cars. We're down but not out! Open to suggestions!

Thought I'd share how I mounted my jump seat bracket using swaybar bushings. 6x 25mm bushings/brackets from eBay (~$50). Bolts/nuts/fender washers ($10) Ground off the original mounting tabs off the original brackets. Set the brackets location by test fitting. Benefits: diy friendly (no welding), removable, urethane adds a little comfort to the seat. Hope this helps!

Hey first post, but was proud of my work so thought I'd share... Installed some Mitsubish Lancer seats in my 86 brat. $40 bucks each from the junk yard! Was able to do it with a hand tools and a drill.
