Hello all,
I'm considering pretty seriously getting a new outback. But for my purposes the clearance -- especially considering the car's length(?) -- seems a little low. Some mud, some creek fording, but mainly seriously rocky roads -- these are often barriers to locating wild trout. What might be an ideal clearance height? Who does this kind of work (not me
) and how much does it cost? Does it compromise anything? I did check out FAQs . . .
I know these are pretty elementary questions, but any responses would be very hery helpful.
Thanks.

Ok I'm new to subaru . . .and AWD . . . so, what's the deal with replacing all the tires at the same time, the dealer said if you don't will lead to problems, so if I blow out a tire it costs a whole set? Yikes. Also, if I just need to get out of some mud, a 20 foot tow, can that f/u things severely, or at all?
Thanks for any light you can shed.
