  1. here's an update on my project. Finally got the bolt out and removed the knuckle. I will be replacing the two bushings as well as that bolt.
  2. I found this related thread: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=6571 I think at this point I will be replacing that bolt (it's twisting 1/4 turn at one end and seized at the other) and the two bushings too.
  3. The knuckle itself is not threaded, but you've probably figured that out now that the bolt spins. I've got the same thing going on right now with my '97 Impreza. Any success?
  4. I found a deal on some nokian nrw's for $19 each here. They only have one size: 185/55R15. My question is, would that be too small for my 97 impreza? (stock size 195/60r15) I've read that you can go smaller for winter tires, but how small is too small?
  5. has anybody here had success cleaning the carbon out of the metal line that goes under the throttle cable? i've tried soaking it with solvent, drilling down both ends, but can't clean past the bends. '97 impreza 2.2l
  6. I've got what seems to be a similar problem with my 02 legacy wagon (automatic) I changed the fuel filter, air filter, plugs, wires, and right now its at a garage, but the mechanic there ran the diagnostics but no sucess on what the problem is. I'm looked at Muse's thread and am wondering if reprogramming the ECM solved the problem. I'll post if we find anything new.
  7. I have an '02 Legacy with similar issues. Did the reprogramming fix it?
