I have a 1991 Loyale with a "check engine" light that recently came on. So I preceeded to give her a tune-up and discovered that the distributer cap was a wreck. I figure that was likely the cause of the "Check engine" light, but in order to test this hypothesis I need to find out how to reset the warning light. Any ideas?

Thanks so much for leading me to that website. Grand total for 4wd repair = $0.38. Apparentley a mouse decided to use a segment of the vacuum tubing that actuates the 4wd for a nest under my hood.

I have a 1991 loyale that I love and often abuse on serious offroad expiditions. This year after working in the desert for 2 months on sandy roads, one day the 4wd would not come on. I highley doubt it is anything mechanical because it worked great up until the day it stopped activating. Does anyone know of a master fuse or have any suggestions on how to check the electrical in the activation button.
