  1. Any thoughts on what small mods I can perform to ekkk out a few more horses on my 2004 Forester XT.....I've done a few mods on my Miata such exhaust mods and computer adjustments stickier tires.....nothing to big or costly......and I would be willing to pay for the work if I get in under my head....but not more than 2k. 2. Well Ive had my new Forester Turbo for about seven weeks (2000 mi) now and I LOVE IT!!!!!!It's great on my 20 some mile Chicago Area drive to work. It took only three days to get a ticket....next time I'll be more careful in making sure my radar-detector is on as the officer was nice enought to point out... Its a great round the town car/SUV not to big not to small. My only wish would be for a bigger fuel tank...but the blazzzzzzing acceleration makes up for it. So here's to the Ford Crown Vic...the Porshe Boxter....the 1992 or so Honda Civic w/20k in "upgrades".....and my favoriate the 2004 Ford F-150 pick-up that could quite hold the road.....I'll se ya at the next stop light. Happy New Year!
  3. I just purchaed a 2004 Forester Turbo, and mt question is should I run synthetic oil. I drive 28 miles each way to and from work about half freeway miles half stop and go. I tend to "visit" the red line about 4-6 times a day with the manual trans. I have been told its "good" to run synthetic oil on a smaller harder working engine. I have a 2000 Miata with 24k and have ben running synthetic oil in with no problems as of yet but I guess it better not at 24 k miles. Any thoughts for a first time Subaru owner would be appreciated. Thanks!!! _____________________________________ 2004 Subaru Forester Turbo 2000 Miata Miata SE 1995 Toyota Camry LE

Oh and yet it is comfortable enough for weekend trips with my family. I can't wait to blow the doors off any and all Mustangs. Firebird's, Z car, G35, all huge a** SUV's and Dodge Caravans......EVEN IN SNOW and yes even my beloved Miata. _____________________________ 2004 Subaru Forester Turbo 2000 Miata Miata SE 1995 Toyota Camry
