blisters

Hey everybody, I recently was given (yup, for free!) a pretty beat up 1984 GL wagon. It's a fun car, the 4wd works, and I've been taking it to the beach and stuff. Other than the digital gauges not working (a whole different thread I'm sure), recently the power windows have stopped working. None of the switches between the front two seats work or on the doors, except the driver side - it doesn't move the driver window up and down, but down by my legs there is some sort of black box that is making a buzzing noise. I've read about the circuit breaker for this but can't seem to find it. Can anybody point me in the right direction? Is this a common thing? Blisters
