  1. 97 Impreza Outback Sport Automatic hard shifts

    Tony Alaimo posted a topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVX
    I have a new to me 97 Impreza Outback Sport with 87,000 miles on it. It shifts very grabby from 1st to 2nd and the rest of the shifts are smooth up and down. I have had the tranny flushed and it still acts the same. Is this normal for these cars ? Are there some things I can look for? Thanks for the help Tony
