Apparently my mums 1997 2.5 outback wagon started to make a lot of engine noise yesterday as she was running her errands. I don't have any more details than that, but it doesn't sound good. Could be a loose spark plug or much much worse. Dunno. She ended up leaving the car somewhere near Suffern, NY.

 

I hope to take a look at the vehicle, but can someone please suggest an honest outfit (dealer or indy) that we can take the car to for diagnosis. Thanks in advance.

Suffern is in Rockland County, she lives in Orange County (Goshen). I live in Westchester County (Tarrytown). So, anwher in these three counties would be ok. Thanks.
