on the drivers side back of the engine there is a steel line that connect from the EGR valve to the back of the head. My thread on the head is stripped bad. Is this an emission line or Coolant??? Help don't have a manuel to tell me. 96 to 99 2.5 DOHC engine...thanks

That line carries the exhaust gases to recirculate. . . So, emissions. You can probably drill it a bit and install a helicoil.
