wheel / hub modification

Featured Replies

I have searched a little and can not find my answer so I am hoping that the hard core brat nuts (hope to be one someday) can answer my questions. I see that alot of you guys redrill hub to five lug, my question is can you redrill it to 4 lug? I am wanting to redrill it to 110mm or 4.5" wheel pattern. Is there enough room on the hub/rotor to do this? I am just thinking this will give you a great deal of tuner rims to use.

Any help with someone that has tried to do this let me know if it is possible, please:grin:

Hi This is Jerry, yes thats the bolt pattern that i have on my 86 hatch and i have cragars 13 inch wheels on it. They are a toyota rear wheel drive wheel but i have over a hundred thousand miles on them no problems yet. You will have to alot of machine work on them but it works. Thanks Jerry

Jerry, thank you very much. This makes me  from ear to ear, LOL. Can you give me an idea of what type of machining you are talking about? I have a Haas mill and a few friends with bigger equipment they will let me use when I need to.

There are write ups on here about doing redrilling. Redrilling for 4 - 5 - and 6 lug. Some are more difficult then others. Keep trying the search function, you will find what you seek.:)

I did search a little more suprising what "ing" on the end of word will do. Still have not found everything but I think I might have enough to see if I can do it.
