  4. I normally get around 25+ out of my 86 but it is also flat where I am at. I did have a couple of tires with low air pressure and my millage went to around 20 to 22 mpg but filled the tires back up and I am now back to over 25 mpg.
  5. You guys suck!!! LOL No snow in SC and maybe someday my Brat will see some.
  6. where is there an AWD in Charlote? May need to drive the big bad Brat from the Rock to seewhat it will pull, LMAO.
  7. I did search a little more suprising what "ing" on the end of word will do. Still have not found everything but I think I might have enough to see if I can do it.
  8. Jerry, thank you very much. This makes me from ear to ear, LOL. Can you give me an idea of what type of machining you are talking about? I have a Haas mill and a few friends with bigger equipment they will let me use when I need to.
  9. just checking to see if you have got the backspace on your wheels. BTW, it looks great!!!!
  10. I have searched a little and can not find my answer so I am hoping that the hard core brat nuts (hope to be one someday) can answer my questions. I see that alot of you guys redrill hub to five lug, my question is can you redrill it to 4 lug? I am wanting to redrill it to 110mm or 4.5" wheel pattern. Is there enough room on the hub/rotor to do this? I am just thinking this will give you a great deal of tuner rims to use. Any help with someone that has tried to do this let me know if it is possible, please:grin:
  11. where are you racing at? I see you are in Charlotte, I live in York. Sorry for hijacking the thread
  12. there is a little scarsm in there but it is true general sadness. I did put about 8000 mile on it last year, guess it is a good thing I work from home, LOL. Here are some pics of her, she is a little dirt.
  13. Well I knew this day would come soon. My 86 brat is up there in the years so I knew this day would come. I have a feeling by tomorrow my Brat will turn over 50k orginal miles. Still runs strong and should have another 50K with no problems. Just sad that it is getting this many miles on it.
  14. thank guys, sorry about taking over your thread but why does nobody do Subaru stuff? I know when I lived up north they were popular cars.
  15. I was hoping it was new carpet and you new where to get some. Mine is starting to show male pattern baldness, LOL. I would like to thank you, I think I am going to work on my brat now. It needs some TLC (not as much as yours did, no cancer in mine). I got the pug wheels the other day now I need to order a lift and some lugnut and I can start. Also thanks on the SEM color because that duplicrap is not even close on color.
  16. that is what is was. Let me know when you get the bender.
  17. York, SC I think I owe you a PM also but not sure what about?
  18. 2 sets I sure would like a set (hint, hint).
  19. I was all pumped about getting snow, they said 2-4 here in York (just outside of Charlotte) and we got a dusting. I was so hoping to run the brat in the snow. BTW looks like fun
  20. I plan on doing the bumpers soon. Have to find some time to do that and install my cruise control.
  21. Time is my big thing at this point. Just dont have enough of it to try to install it. Getting dark at 5:30 just does not help things out.
