no dash no go

Featured Replies

ok short story im setting up a 83 MY touring wagon for some offroad racing kind of like phiz, i've started with the easy stuff first of stripping the interior and all is well untill to night....

i removed the last part being the dash and now she doesnt go

im sure it must be a relay or something that needs to be mounted in such a way to be grounded (which would have been befor dash was pulled out  ).

can someone point me in a direction to look? i can here a relay click when i turn the key, its just as if there isn't power going to the starter (its not doing anything, yes it is a recon starter that was working yesterday)

its a 3at if this helps whith anything.... oh and shes got a digi dash  that works!

once she's gutted and running again ill post up some pics

Since its an automatic and you just tore out the dash (Im asuming the center console too) you should look for the nuetral safetey switch wiring. Just follow the wires from the switch on the shifter.

all that still needs doing

-lighten the front more within engine bay (if i can)

-make struts/control arms/radius rods stronger

-bigger (maybe 6 stud) wheels

then it will be ready for some jumps but im going to fix the motor abit..... its drinking some water.
