November 11, 200916 yr Hi, guys. While I and the wife aren't new to Subarus, we haven't owned any for a while. I just recently bought a '99 Outback Limited. It's a real creampuff and only has 63,000 on the clock. I needed another car and absolutely couldn't pass up the deal, another inducement to get back behind the wheel of a Subaru. I look forward to getting to know a bunch of you over time. In case anyone wonders, my handle here is because I'm a moderator on Allpar.com, an extremely popular Mopar site, along with being a columnist there. I hope I can bring some of my automotive knowledge here when appropriate.
November 11, 200916 yr Heh, I was on Allpar for a little bit after I sold my Legacy! I had a 94 Duster 3.0L 5 speed. It was a fun car to drive until one of the HG blew up and I had to sell it. Now I'm trying to get back into a Soob, I really miss them. Welcome to the USMB, it's a great forum!
November 12, 200916 yr Welcome. I'm in the same general area. Currently spending a lot of time in VA though. Where exactly are you? PM if necessary.
November 12, 200916 yr I graduated from Seneca Valley. Bought my first Subaru (1984 GL wagon) from some locals in Zelienople. Drove that car to CA and have only owned Subaru's since. Go Steelers
November 12, 200916 yr Author Thanks, guys. I am from Pittsburgh itself, though we also have a place to the north in the Moraine area and spend a lot of time there. Hey,Scooby...I was just in your neck of the woods a couple weeks ago over Halloween. Our best friends live in Wayland. Nice area. It's a shame Michigan has the problems it has. Definately Go Steelers!!!!!
November 13, 200916 yr Heh, no kidding! I dunno, it's not so bad here in Kzoo, I've lived hear for about 5 years. Depending on how things go with my job I might find a good house and settle in for a while.
