My Impreza shifter broke. Actually it is just the little clip on the side of it that the shifter cable attaches to that broke.

 

Dealer wants a few hundred for the whole shifter & won't sell the clip by itself.

Does anyone know of anybody parting an Impreza or a Forester as they use the same clip.

It is a 2000 2.5 RS auto. I understand the forester uses the same shifter.

Does anyone know where I can get the part number from online...

Call a few junkyards in your area. Or better yet find a pull apart and grab one for really cheap. Or you could just rig it with a bent up clothes hanger. :rolleyes:
