Crank Sensor Wire

I've seen several 2.5 motors 96-99 where the crank sensor plug wire insulation was cracked just behind the connector. This caused faluty starting or no start conditions.

 

The liquid electrical tape has been a good fix for several of them where the core wire was in good condition.
