after the below thread took place.. i dug in the glove box and found that at 74k it was towed into a shop for timing belts, reseal, water pump, etc.. so my guess is it prolly broke a t-belt at this point..

 

its got 148k and no other records of belts done.. so its prolly time to get it done, or break one.. thats a summer job.. crossin my fingers it lasts that long..

 

this slushbox is funky.. i now know how it got its name.. first one i ever had.. well pics coming in a week or so

Ditto on the slushbox being funky... I hate mine with a passion. Can't wait to throw it in the TRASH. Actually, I'll probably just take it to work and add it to the warehouse inventory. Either way, just as long as I get it out of my sight.

yeah, your governor worked great.. going to run it a few hundred miles and pull it out to see if theres any new wear on it..

 

hopefully the right gear oil in the front diff will prevent that..
