charm
I was at the stealership parts counter the other day and noticed how much taller the new outbacks are compared to my 2000. Some of that appears to be in the body, but they do have a good bit more ground clearance. Any chance somebody has looked to see if the struts from '09 or even a '10 outback fit a 2000? bheinen74
The 05-09 struts are much softer, and will not work well. And, in 2010, the whole shebang setup is redesigned, so you are looking at much work to do this. Actually, people are starting to look at putting the 00-04 struts on the backs of the 05-09 to prevent "ghostwalking"

Rears definately not. Each generation of leagcy from 2000-04, then 05-09, and now the 2010's are different rear subassemblies. I am currently working on a prototype lift for 2000-04 OUtbacks and Bajas. Follow my Lift kit threads in the Vendors section(00-04 coming soon)
charm
I'll keep an eye open for those lift threads coming soon! Thanks. Like I said, just a thought from somebody clearly not following the changes to each model except what's on the outside.
