Hey guys, I just aquired a turbo from a 97 (I think) Volvo S40 1.9 L. Its a nice compact little unit, compressor side inlet & outlet very close dimensions to my 1.8 Subie. Exh. side larger, has a split Exh. inlet, one side to the turbine, other to waste gate. Also has what apears to be a boost operated dump valve at the inlet to the compressor housing. Don't know if it would have any benafits over my stocker. Still a nice addn. to my turbo collection. Thanks, Steve.

Found it, looked at some Volvo sites,one in UK most informative. It's a Mitsu TDO4 or TEO4, common to Saab-Vovlo-Audi-Mitsu-Subaru. $40.oo with plumbing.It'll need a kit,$70.oo,think it mite be a good donor for my 1.8T Hasta, S.

tdo4 came on wrx's in the middle years.at least 02-04 did.dunno about any other years.cheers, brian

VF-39 and TD-04 have both been swapped to EA82T. Should be a lot of info of you do a search for it.
