turn signal issue on 09 impreza

Featured Replies

I have a 2009 impreza obs with 6200 miles. Recently for no reason my left turn signal will blink very quickly but eventually go back to normal. I have looked at the front and rear bulbs, but they look ok. Any ideas? Seems very strange for this to happen on a "new" vehicle with such low miles.....

Just because the bulbs look ok and are newer doesn't mean that one of the filaments isn't quirky. It's probably a bulb going bad.

When one side of the turn signals starts to flash at a rate faster than normal, it usually indicates that there is a problem with one of the turn signal bulbs on that side of the car. A front or rear bulb filament may be weak, the bulb may have a poor ground, or the socket may be corroded and not making a good contact. Clean things up or change the bulb and you should be good to go. Good Luck!
