ok, ok, her's the deal.

 

Yesterday I picked up a nice rust free 86 wagon D/R 5spd Wagon. Bad motor.

 

I got it home and starting wondering..hmmmmmm what's wrong with the motor. So begin the tear down. I try turning the motor over by hand....NO DICE. It feels like something is in the way....rod? piston? valve?

I jerk out the plugs, and have a little looksie down the holes...I see somthing! looks to be a ring that is stuck in the cylinder...like between the head and piston....vertical, if you will.

 

No real question or anything, just thought I'd share.

 

I guess a question....Anyone see this particaluar problem?

 

I'll finish pulling the motor tonight or tomorrow, and await a new motor...I have an Add in WTB section.
