96 impreza 2.2 auto AWD sw

 

Well now , I noticed the Check engine light came on While driving . We checked , came on as Code P1101 neutral safety switch . Now I cleared the code but if it comes back , where is it on the auto trans and how can I check or replace it ? Does any one have pics of the switch or that area ? :-\

P.S. checked the search mode did not see good pics .

Search for "Inhibitor Switch". That should get you a few better results for the auto trans. Do the Advanced search and select sort by relevancy instead of by date.
