Rear Washer Problem - 2000 Forester

Featured Replies

I noticed today that my rear washer was clogged again. But this time it's leaking into the cargo area.

Does anyone know how the rear nozzle comes off ? Did I break a hose or is this a bad clog ?

HELP ! :eek::eek:

The hose broke where it comes into the sheet metal for the hatch. My mechanic coupled the 2 pieces and it works better than new. $100.00. :eek:

All labor.

Suggest using a straight pin (needle) to poke inside the hole where the fluid squirts out. I have done that to break up crud dirt that can accumulate to get the washer fluid flowing again.

I appreciate your suggestion but in this case the hose was broken and needed a repair.
