I just put new axles rotors and pads on the front end of my 1998 subaru legacy outback 2.5 stick. I have an abs light that comes on every once and awhile. along with that I have a sharp return in the brake petal about 80% of the time I am braking it pulsates sharply with a slight grinding noise. I'd love to know what this is so i can fix it cause i am lost.

I also seems to have lost all dash lights and have no response from the dimmer on the turn signal lever. Is this a fuse problem or did i break something

The lights and brakes are most likely not related.

 

Check the fuses for the lights.

 

The Brakes should be inspected, checking closly for proper clearance of the ABS Sensor and tone ring.
