Just wanted to say hello to everyone... this seems like a very informative board, and I'm so glad I found it. I currently own a 1995 Outback 2,2 liter, 5 speed, and a 1996 Legacy wagon 2,5 liter, automatic. Both white, pretty much the same looking car to the unknowing eye. I love both my cars, but the second is a real trouble child.

I've been interested in Subarus since about 1998, and finally got to purchase one a while back. I love the cars, but don't like the head gasket issue. That's my only complaint.

I'm typically a European car guy, with my favorite companies being Volvo, Saab, BMW and Audi.

My dream cars-

Any year Audi S4

Either a Volvo 850 R, an S60 R, or, more than anything, a V70 R, blue.

A 1996 Subaru Legacy GT 2,5 turbo, four doors, red. That's the car I'd kill to own.

Ok, now that i've ranted a whole bunch of nothing, tell me more about yourselves!!!:banana::banana:

And hello to you, Arty--you're gonna' like this place. Must say you have good taste in cars, especially '95 Legacy 5-speeds. Can't beat that!

I guess I've lived through the "Golden Age" of Subarus. Started with an '85 DL wagon, liked it so much we got an '85 GL wagon too. Now I'm driving a '95 Legacy L wagon. Such a sweet engine I'm not sure I'll ever move beyond it. My son in Seattle drives a '92 Legacy L sedan too.

Again, welcome aboard.

Arty,

Where do you get your Subies fixed in the Cincy area?

I'm looking for a good independent shop that has lots of Subaru experience in the Chilitown area!
