I'm hoping I can find someone who has a 1997 or newer legacy with a 2.2L in it and a 5 speed manual. It must be a manual transmission, and if you have one I need you to find out if these cars came with EGR valves or not. I know most 96 2.2 5 speeds didn't have EGR but what about in 97?

But I don't know if that means every '97 2.2l had them. Subaru seems to be famous for sticking whatever they had on hand in the cars.
