mudrat79 Posted February 12, 2004 Share Posted February 12, 2004 I need to know if anyone has used a 97 or newer Auto AWD tranny in an older gen Legacy....? I have a 91 Legacy Sedan with an AWD Auto in it.....It has a bad tranny........ I also have a 97 Legacy Wagon AWD Auto tranny.......with only 85,000 miles on it..... I want to stuff it in the 91, but Dealer says it won't work....??????? Only issue I see it having, is wires not being the same from year to year....???? I already have the 97 motor in the 91 Car.....? so tranny will bolt right up to it... Any info is greatly apreciated...... Thanks, John in Eugene.........
