I'm considering putting a Holly Bugspray on my DP 87 XT and for a manifold I was considering an old DP turbo manifold I have here since it uses a central mounted throttle body. I know its not designed for fuel flow, but will it work?

you will hear arguements about swirl and fuel mixture condensing inside the intake. maybe you can rough up the surface inside the intake?

 

the draft is going to alternate between each cylinder bank since aech bank fires almost simultaneously. you may want to make some sort of riser that gets wider towards the bottom with a vane in the middle

There's people on here running disty's and carbs on 2.2 engines. So yeah, you can mod the intake to run a carb on yours. Not "the best" way to do it, but it will work.
