fuzion vri tires

Featured Replies

anyone that has these tires how do you like them?

i'm thinking of getting a set for my wrx size 205/55-16. tirerack says they look directional but aren't and can be mounted either way but my girlfriends moms legacy has a set of hri's (tread looks the same) and they say OUTSIDE on the one side of the tire and the tire shop mounted them with that side facing out but the one side of the car has the tread facing opposite of the other side and the tire shop said this is how they go. i don't think it looks right.

any thoughts?

They suck, don't waste your money on them. They're loud, they don't balance well, and they often wear unevenly even if your car is in perfect alignment.

Doesn't matter if they're directional or not, they suck just as bad no matter which way you mount them.

You'll be 100 times happier with the Bridgestones. Better grip and they'll last longer. They also make less noise, though any tire in that performance range will make a fair amount of noise.

100x agreed with Fairtax. I can't tell you how many I've seen come through the shop with these tires. And they wear horribly, even if you keep the air pressures right. They still manage to wear scalloped. I've also seen many of them with bulged out sidewalls. Staaaay away

Those fuzion tires are garbage in every aspect imaginable, that is why they are so cheap to buy, the cheapness entices people to try them out and save 75 bucks on the set of 4. If you want, you should just take 75 bucks and throw in the dumpster, and save the trouble, and drive around on worn out name brand tires which will be better than new fuzions.

I have no experience with the vri's, but I had the hri's on my VW. They were an ok tire in dry and wet, but don't last very well. That shop doesn't know what they are doing. The hri's are not a directional tire. They are assymetric. There is a reason why the manufacturere labeled one as 'outside' and that tire shop clearly does not know how to follow instructions.
