For some reason my 93 Impreza OB 1.8 Auto will turn itself on, not running or anything, but as if the car's key has been turn to accessory mode. It does this at random times, no order that I can tell. It will drain my battery though so I have resorted to disconnecting the battery everytime I part.

 

I assume this is a relay/selonid somewhere.

Possibly the ignition switch. What all turn on when this happens? Radio? Any lights?

radio and all lights including park and headlights.

Do you leave the headlight switch in the On position when you turn the car off?

no, turn the radio off to......but it's still a battery drain
