So I was just poking around in the engine bay (EA81, 82 brat) this afternoon and I saw this thing:

The tube coming from it wasn't hooked up to anything and when I moved the tube around it began clicking and sounded like a relay or something.

 

What is this? And do I need to connect it somewhere? :confused:

Hi This is Jerry, that is for your ac it is for fast idle when you have the ac on so your brat will stay running. The hose is conected to a dash pot that is on the right side of the carb. Thanks Jerry
