hi all, I have an 86gl with a 1.8 eng and auto trans. The ECS light comes on after the engine runs a short time.I also noticed a lack of power on acceleration and on hills. I replaced the plugs and wires but got little help. I also checked the timing but wasn't sure if i did it right. this is my 1st foreign car and don't know if i missed something in the process. I had the timing belts replaced and oil pump resealed a while back. not much change after that either. Thanks for any help.
