Hi All,

New member & proud new owner of an 08 Forester. Anyone know of any good independent subaru mechanics in NEPA? I already know about Sokolowsky Brothers in Pittston. How about DMI in Scranton?

I go to Hack's service center in Jerseytown, which is near Bloomsburg. It's probably not as close as what you are looking for, but very experienced with Subaru and very reasonable on bigger jobs like head gaskets.

I haven't dealt with them, but a friend of mine deals with DMI. He's never talked bad of them.

I dealt w/ DMI once - and my uncle and also a friend use them. Good place to go. Price was fair and work was done well. Haven't been there in the last few years as I have a nice garage to work in now. I would be surprised if anything has changed though.
