im not sure the thought process behind this swap but it looks like the forester bumper has a dip where the grill is and is much longer.

 

the impreza is completely flat at the top and around the wheel has a much more aggresive line, and i doubt the brackets will line up, like at all.

 

so in short, i suppose you could change the brackets but it will look terrible
