Hi, i have a subaru leone touring wagon EA82 Engine 1.8 4wd 1989 make and wanted to change the engine to a different engine but wasnt sure which one to look for.

i am looking for an engine that is an EFI and i wont have to change the gearbox.

please advise me since i was told that i can fit an EJ20 in my subaru but would appreciate some guidance in this.

Your best engine swap will be a EJ22.
