coil pack

Featured Replies

Follow your 4 spark plug wires back from the plugs. The other end of the wires plugs into the coil pack. It is located on top of the motor. You can't miss it.

im missing it lol. the wires go into looms, is it on top of the engine or the manifold?? what does it look like?

This is the EJ20 twin turbo motor right?

I don't know, those might have had the individual coils for each cylinder?

All the ones we're used to look something like this:

It's mounted pretty much dead center on top of the intake manifold.

nahh i dont have one of those, i have individual ones on each plug. pulled one off but had bugger all spark. dont suppose you have any idea why??

Oh you are from New Zealand. Maybe your Subies are different from those sent to North America. Send us some pictures of what you got, then maybe we can all figure this out.

Yeah some of the newer soobs here stateside have the individual COPs (coil on plug). I'm not entirely sure which, but they are basically the same as what you have, minus one turbo.

So do you have no spark at all? Or just on one or two cylinders?

EJ20 twin turbo....does that even exist? if it does I havent heard of it. Coil pack is on the manifold right in front of your face when you pop the hood, big black thing with 2 wires on each side....

ahhh I saw some stuff you have individual coil packs, that would suck I like the biggin on the manifold
