Hey guys, new to this site, but have had nine subarus over the years....

 

My question today is what is a good radiator and where to buy? I want to get a good value quality aluminum model that bolts right up or is easy to custom mount. I have plenty of the basic tools but no welding at home.

Oh I should mention, 2001 legacy L 5 speed wagon in green with stock black steel wheels no hubcaps, mean machine haha. approaching 150k on her.

i would get a new radiator from radiatorbarn.com. i ordered one for a 2000 earlier this year and it was like $90. it'll last another 150,000 miles...probably more if you change the coolant regularly, so that's a great value.

 

by aluminum are you looking for a custom aftermarket? there's really no gain in those for most applications unless you're doing something crazy.
