Quick question.

Does anyone have the oil filter and pcv valve number for a ´96 Legacy Outback 2.2 (U.S. model)? Even more specifically, are these part numbers the same for non-American models?

Time to change the oil and I finding it is not easy to locate a filter.

I'm sure they have a part #. However i don't think they are going to vary from country to country.

oil flter: 15208AA060 +/- $6.00 us

 

pvc: 11810AA000 +/- $8.00 us

You can get a Purolator 14460 if you want. That's the one that fits (virtually?) all the H4 Subaru engines. Premium (L) or PureONE (PL).

 

I'm assuming that they use the same number across countries.

And the Purolator PCV valve is part number PV1019, at least in North America.

EJ series motors use a different filter than EA series, the threads on the filter boss are different.
