Gearbox question

Featured Replies

Sorry if i've posted this in the wrong section.

I am after ej high/low gearbox with part time 4 wheel drive ideally with 4.11 diff gearing

does such a gear box exist?

or can it be made up using components from different boxes?

i mainly need help with the part time 4wd on a ej box as i've found most about everything else using the search function

Thanks ahead of time.

I've got a 5mt d/r but it's full time 4wd

i'd like one with selectable rear drive but i carn't seem to find a part time ej gearbox,

Could i use a ea part time 4wd transfer box on my 5mt d/r?

No.

The AWD pinion shaft won't mate to the Part Time guts.

Best you could do is use a 5mt D/R from an EA with an adapter plate. 3.9 only though (at least here, Europe could be different)
