I have an 83 brat with an EA 82 and we got the timing off by one tooth but it runs but when it gets up to about 3 grand it spits gas out the top of the carb HELP HELP HELP

Which timing are you off on, ignition or cam? I am assuming cam. Did you fix the timing issue yet? If not, do so.

ok would the EA 81 weber carb work on the EA 82?

different manifold flange. it can work, just adapted. FYI, you need to fix the timing, it is spitting gas because its blowing compression back through the intake valves, DON'T REPLACE THE CARB, FIX THE TIMING!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THEN put the weber on it!
