Well...its time to face facts. My 93 Legacy wagon is coming up on 260k and, there's just no getting around it, the suspension bushings are all shot. A couple of them are even starting to spit out their little metal sleeves. I'd like to find something a bit harder than the OE bushings, but NOBODY seems to make upgrade bushings for the early legacy's. I'm wondering if I can use impreza bushings or perhaps bushings for a later legacy. Any thoughts?

I'm not entirely familiar with the 1st gen legacy chassis, but if it's anything like the 2nd gen, most Impreza parts should fit just fine.

Impreza and Legacy use the same parts. Just order them for the earliest Impreza you can get...which was 1993.

Thanks, guys. Went looking through a couple of catalogs and can't even find good sets for imprezas earlier than 2002. *sigh*

Most places that I found don't carry any full suspension kits for any Subaru.

You can piece together a set from whiteline or rallitek though. There are a few others out there as well that make bushings for the Impreza.
