I know that this has been done successfully....wondering if any board member on the East Coast can assist with this...I have my eye on a vanagon Syncro and would like to do an SVX conversion...can source a low mileage engine+wiring harness+ECU on my own...just need some expertise on how to do it..or someone to do the whole project for me...if no one available on my side of the USA...can ship it wherever(within the continental US)and get it done for reasonable price.

Contact Wild Westy in Boulder, CO. He does terrific work, very detail oriented. I would ship the entire van, harness, and engine to him and let him complete it.
